Opportunity for children aged 8 to 11 to perform in exciting new show - Camden Rise

Award-winning arts organisation Fevered Sleep have an exciting opportunity for children in Camden to be part of their new show.

They’re looking for a group of confident, creative 8 to 11 year-olds to take part in their latest performance, Time Keeps the Drummer. This is a new piece that they are touring the UK with in 2025 and 2026, stopping at The Place in London this September.

Time Keeps The Drummer is a playful physical performance, full of bold images, improvised movement and dance. For each show, Fevered Sleep recruit a new, local group of children, making every performance unique to its location.

Any children taking part don’t need formal dance experience – just enthusiasm. Find out more on their website and view or download their information pack.

Key dates:

• Deadline to register for casting day: midday on Tuesday 15 July
• Audition workshops will take place on Sunday 20 July 
• Rehearsal at The Place: Thursday 11 September
• Performances at The Place: Friday 12 September and Saturday 13 September.
