Virtual Shout Out debates Black Lives Matter

Young people from Camden discussed what the Black Lives Matter movement means for them at their last virtual Shout Out on Thursday 13 August.

It follows a previous online debate on 23 July - and this time other young activists joined members of Camden Youth Council.

A panel of four young people spoke about their experiences of activism and responded to questions from other young people. The event was hosted by two members of Camden Youth Council and was attended by 14 young people.

They focused on the following questions:

  • What can young people contribute to the Black Lives Matter movement?
  • What are the main issues facing black and minority ethnic young people in the UK now?

Thank you to our guest panellists. For more details about future events, please follow Camden Youth Council's social media accounts or email rashid.ali@camden.gov.uk
