Are you aged 16 to 19 and looking to pursue a career in sport and physical activity? Camden’s Sports Education and Training Programme is now recruiting students for their September 2024 enrolment.

Students aged 16 to 19 and looking to pursue a career in sport and physical activity can find out more and sign-up for the programme before 30 July 2024

LaSWAP Sixth Form and Camden Council's Sport and Physical Activity Team are recruiting students for next year's programme at Talacre Community Sports Centre, starting in September 2024.

The programme is an amazing opportunity for young people aged 16 to 19 who want a career in sport and physical activity.

Within the one-year programme, you can gain nationally-recognised qualifications, including:

  • a Level 2 NVQ Certificate of Activity Leadership
  • Level 3 Diploma in Sports Development, and
  • our new addition of the BTEC Extended Certificate in Sports Coaching.

Many students who complete the programme move on to find paid work as sports coaches, play workers, fitness instructors and teaching assistants. Others go on to more in-depth courses at university.

If you want to find out more, or know of a young person aged 16 to 19 who may be interested in sport and physical activity, working with other young people and securing paid work within the sports, play and education sector, please view or download the programme leaflet to find out more and fill in the online registration form, or:
