Build The Way - architecture traineeships for 18 to 25 year-olds - Camden Rise

Are you passionate about the built environment? Build The Way is a nine-month entry-level architecture traineeship providing an alternative and accessible route into a career designing and making buildings, spaces, cities, and communities.

Build The Way offers a number of  traineeship placements to young Londoners at a selection of different Architecture Practices in London. You must be aged between 18 and 25 at the start of the traineeship in October 2025.

Each trainee is paid London Living Wage for a 32-hour week, with an additional one day a week for their professional practice and to undertake an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) at the London School of Architecture. 

With no experience-based barriers to application, places are offered to those who can show a passion for design and cities.  

Over nine months, trainees learn the fundamentals of architecture, how to communicate thoughts and illustrate ideas. Trainees also develop key skills such as time management, strategic thinking and communication skills.

The 2025 intake programme will start in October 2025, with applications opening on 4 July 2025.
