Ever thought of a career in sports coaching?

Were you inspired by the Lionesses' victory at Euro 2022? Want to help the next Leah Williamson, Millie Bright, Jess Carter or Keira Walsh to develop their football skills?

If you're aged 16 to 19 and looking to pursue a career in sport and physical activity, why not find out more and sign up for the Sports Education and Training Programme at Talacre Community Sports Centre?

LaSWAP Sixth Form and Camden Council's Sport and Physical Activity Team are now recruiting students for the 2022 programme, starting in September - and you have until 30 August to find out more and apply.

The Sports Education and Training Programme is an amazing opportunity for young people aged 16 to 19 who want a career in sport and physical activity.

Within the one-year programme, students can gain nationally-recognised qualifications, including a Level 2 NVQ Certificate of Activity Leadership and a Level 3 Diploma in Sports Development.

Many students who complete the programme move on to find paid work as sports coaches, play workers, fitness instructors and teaching assistants. Others go on to more in-depth courses at university.
