Registered disabled card

Many organisations and providers offer discounts, special concessions or access to certain facilities to disabled people.

Sometimes it can be difficult to provide evidence without revealing personal or sensitive information. In response to this we have introduced a Registered Disabled Card, for current holders of Camden's disabled travel concessions.

registered disabled card

This card substantiates that the holder is Registered Disabled by the Council in accordance with Department for Transport guidance and relevant Local Authority Transport criteria. The Registered Disabled Card provides a simple and easy approach to accessing concessions or facilities available  for disabled  people.

Clients known to Camden Accessible Travel Solutions through schemes, such as the Disabled Parking (Blue) Badge scheme and Disabled Persons Freedom Pass scheme, can apply for a  Registered Disabled Card at a cost of £10. The card will be valid for the same amount of time as the holder's travel concession.

The card is available for free to all Older Persons' Freedom Pass Holders who qualify for a Disabled Persons' Freedom Pass.
