October 2022 half-term activities for children and young people

It's half-term this week. There are lots of sports, play and youth activities for children and young people of all ages happening in your local area.

Mixed Football and Multi-Sports Sessions - Cantelowes Gardens Sports Pitch, Camden Road, NW1 9AE on Monday 24 and Tuesday 25 October, 12noon to 3pm. A range of free football fun drills and games and multi-sport activities for children and young people aged 8 to 12. A great opportunity to try out new activities and socialise with friends at Cantelowes Sports Pitch. Active Wednesday - Talacre Community Sports Centre, Dalby Street, NW5 3AF on Wednesday 26 October from 4pm to 6pm. Free activities, for ages 11 to 17, including trampolining, cricket, tennis, table tennis, football, basketball and much more. Kilburn Grange Park Multi-Sport Session - Kilburn Grange Park multi-use games area, NW6 2JL on Thursday 27 and Friday 28 October, 1pm to 4pm. Arsenal in The Community - Cantelowes Gardens Sports Pitch, Camden Road, NW1 9AE on Wednesday 26, Thursday 27 and Friday 28 October, 1pm to 4pm. In partnership with Camden Active, Arsenal in the Community provides opportunities for boys and girls, aged 8 to 18, of all abilities to play football and be coached over the school holidays free of charge by qualified Arsenal community coaches. Black History poetry / spoken word competition for young people. First prize of £30 voucher and two free tickets to The Woman King film. Second prize is two free tickets to The Woman King film.
