Camden Youth Safety Fortnight 2022 - programme of events

Camden Youth Safety Fortnight gets under way from 25 June to 10 July 2022 - with activities and events for children, young people, parents / carers and professionals taking place across the borough.

Check out our full programme here (updated 27.6.22). Highlights include:

  • Camden Youth Shout Out on Thursday 30 June, from 5.30 to 8pm, with sessions led by Camden Youth Council on diversity in policing and justice, feminism and sex education, as well as the environment. Find out more and register for a free place here
  • The XLP Van will be in Lismore Circus, Queen's Crescent, with a PS5 and computers. The XLP Van team usually also have a football and have a kickabout outside the van. More details in the programme of events.
  • Our youth centres will be organising a wide range of sporting activities, as well as sessions aimed at helping their young people to stay safe, covering issues ranging from youth exploitation and county lines to crime and consequences and staying safe online
  • There are girls' football sessions and activities focusing on the safety of young women and girls, including young women's self-defence classes as well as girls-only youth groups
  • Check out the popular Friday Night Project at Talacre Sports Centre, which is holding a special session on Friday 1 July, with a visit by the Police Cadets and Camden Giving.

This is our biggest and best Youth Safety Fortnight ever with about 100 different events and activities taking place over the two weeks. Find out more and read the full programme here (updated 27.6.22).
