Get involved: connect with your neighbours and shape your neighbourhood

Here in Camden, we’ve seen that when tenants come together, great things happen. From activating communal spaces to being involved in decision-making that impacts you, there are many ways to get involved and help make your estate a better place to call home.

Whether you have a little time to spare or are ready to dive into a bigger project, there's an opportunity for everyone. Explore options to get involved and discover how to connect with your community, learn new skills, and contribute to a thriving neighbourhood.

Connect with your neighbours

Join or set up a Tenant and Resident Association (TRA): Become part of a TRA to represent your block or estate, tackle local issues together, and access funding for community activities.

Camden Association of Street Properties (CASP): If you live in a Camden street property, CASP is your borough-wide tenant and resident association. Representing your concerns, CASP is run by elected residents.

Recognised Tenants' Associations (RTA): As a Camden leaseholder, you can form an RTA in your block or street to represent your interests on service charges and more. If you represent at least 50% of properties, your RTA can request things like cost summaries, inspect accounts and nominate contractors.

Community Champions: Join teams of passionate residents in Highgate, Kentish Town, Kings Cross, Kilburn and Regent’s Park, and working to boost health and wellbeing in their communities.

Share your views

Camden Citizens Group: If you're aged 16 or over and live in Camden, you can join our citizens group to share your experiences and insights through surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
