Kilburn Library is open for customers to browse and choose their own books and to use our public computers and study spaces.
You don’t need to book a computer in advance, PCs are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Access is limited to two hours per day. You can also scan, print and photocopy documents. View the Acceptable Use of Public Computers policy (PDF) and our Acceptable use of Wi-Fi policy (PDF).
You can return any outstanding books, DVDs or CDs on loan within the opening hours.
We also offer a range of activities for our library users, see: What's on this month.
Did you know you can rent household, gardening or DIY tools and appliances from Library of Things rather than buying new? If you are only going to use a particular tool or device once, this is a green way to complete your task. Library of Things is at Kilburn and Kentish Town libraries. Reserve your item online, pick it up and return when you're done!
The library has a number of other measures in place to keep customers and staff safe.
Our services may change at short notice. For the latest information, see Library news.

Contacting the Council at your local library
Courtesy phones have recently been reinstated in all Camden Libraries except Pancras Square Library where residents can speak with a team member at Contact Camden. This means you can speak with someone and complete tasks by using the phone at the library. Ask the library team if you need assistance.
Displaying posters and flyers
The library displays posters to promote local events and services. Our Community Information Policy outlines the criteria used when deciding whether to display a particular poster.
What to do if you have an idea for an activity or event
We would like to hear from you if you have an idea for an activity or event that you could help organise. We will welcome your idea and discuss this with you to see if it's something we can support you to deliver in the library space. There is also Camden Giving if you think your idea needs some resources.
